I don’t know about you , but I have been glued to the TV this summer watching the Olympics.  Not only am I impressed with the competition, but I have been enthralled by the in-depth reporting on the many aspects of the games and the impact of the games taking place in China.  The journalism produced from this extended sporting event has been interesting, informative and invigorating.  I am inspired as I head into another semester with students eager to pursue their dream of becoming working journalists.
