I am Lisa Parisot, a lecturer at the University of North Texas in the Journalism Department teaching electronic news gathering, multimedia and broadcast news writing. For more than 25 years I worked in broadcast news and video production in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I started my career as a news photographer/editor in Oklahoma City in 1978 and moved to Dallas in 1981 to work at WFAA-TV. Today I work with students majoring in electronic news gathering and run a small video production company specializing in personal histories.
