Soundslides # 1
You will gather new audio and photos for this assignment. The TOPIC of this assignment is directly related to the UNT campus. It must be a specific example of the student experience on campus told through an interview with one student. Be very specific so the viewers can grasp this aspect of student life on the UNT campus. You will blog about this story and we will attach the soundslides to your blog in class.
Example : The students who work at the school television station prepare daily broadcasts which are seen on campus and throughout Denton on cable. Photos would show students gathering video, editing, writing scripts, and doing a broadcast. The interview would be with one student who is working at the TV Station in the News Department. That audio would be combined with natural sound of the the activity in the newsroom.
Time : the audio which is edited first should be no more that 1:30, no less than 1:00.
Photos: The total depends on the length of your audio. 5 seconds is about the maximum for how long one photo should be shown.
Requirements:
This should tell a story with a beginning, middle and definite end. It should be interesting. Look for an interesting person to tell the story through – and it should have a focus.
